Diplomate do American Board of Orthodontics, ABO. Diretor do ABO de 2017 a 2025 representando a Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontists, culminando como presidente do American Board of Orthodontics em maio de 2024. Deputy Editor-in-Chief do American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics, AJO-DO, e do AJO-DO Clinical Companion. Associate Editor do Journal of the World Federation of Orthodontists, Orthodontics and Craniofacial Research e Korean Journal of Orthodontics. Membro do conselho editorial de The Angle Orthodontist e Seminars in Orthodontics.
Autor de mais de 390 artigos científicos e clínicos, 3 livros e 23 capítulos de livros. Entre os prêmios: Charley Schultz Award, 1º lugar, AAO Resident Scholars Program, 2006; AAO Joseph E.
