Mais de 45 anos de experiência clínica em casos endodônticos complexos, incluindo procedimentos microcirúrgicos sob microscópio operatório e manejo de anatomias de canal radicular desafiadoras. Treinado na Escola de Odontologia de Pós-Graduação da Universidade de Boston (1978-1980) sob o professor Herbert Schilder. Consultor hospitalar por 15 anos especializado em complicações endodônticas.
Palestrante internacional tendo ensinado em mais de 60 países em todo o mundo desde 1985. Fundador e presidente do Warm Gutta-Percha Study Club e diretor do Centro de Treinamento Micro-Endodôntico em Florença. Editor-chefe da Endo Tribune. Publicou mais de 60 artigos em revistas científicas internacionais.
MD pela Universidade de Florença (1973). Especialização odontológica pela Universidade de Florença (1977). Professor assistente de endodontia na Escola de Medicina Dental Henry M. Goldman da Universidade de Boston, Universidade de Cagliari e Universidade de Brescia. Professor de endodontia microcirúrgica na Universidade Federico II de Nápoles. Autor do livro didático de três volumes "Endodontia" e "Micro-Endodontia Cirúrgica" (Editora EDRA), traduzido para vários idiomas. Ex-presidente da Sociedade Italiana de Endodontia (S.I.E.) e da Federação Internacional de Associações Endodônticas (I.F.E.A.). Membro ativo da Sociedade Europeia de Endodontologia (E.S.E.) e da Associação Americana de Endodontistas (A.A.E.).
