Adjunct Professor de Periodontia na University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine, Philadelphia, EUA, de 2006 a 2016, onde também ministrou o curso de educação continuada sobre tratamento estético de defeitos de recessão. Atualmente responsável pelo Continuing Education Course in Periodontal Plastic Surgery na Humanitas University, Milão, Itália. Diretor Científico da DentalMedTV, um canal italiano de web TV dedicado à odontologia. Prática privada na Sicor, em Turim, limitada exclusivamente à cirurgia periodontal e implantodôntica.
Autor de múltiplas publicações em periódicos internacionais revisados por pares de periodontia e implantodontia. Coautor, com o Dr. Giuseppe Corrente, dos livros em italiano Impianti Post-estrattivi Immediati e Rialzo del Seno Mascellare per Via Crestale. Coautor de quatro capítulos em livros-texto internacionais de odontologia. Recebeu o H.M. Goldman Prize for Clinical Research in Periodontology da Italian Society of Periodontology em 2000 e o EAO Prize for Clinical Research in Implantology em 2010. Active Member da Italian Society of Periodontology e da Italian Academy of Osseointegration. MD, DDS.
