Cargos acadêmicos: Lecturer do Annual Master's Program in Clinical and Microsurgical Endodontics, University of Brescia (desde 2021). Adjunct Professor de Dentística Restauradora, University of Parma (2022–2024). Lecturer da Chair of Prosthodontics do Prof. Gastaldi, San Raffaele University of Milan (desde 2017). International guest lecturer nas Universities of Eluru e Vizag, Índia (Prosthodontics, 2023–2024) e nas Universities of Addis Ababa e Makallè, Etiópia (Endodontics).
Coautor de quatro livros-texto: Adhesive Restorations of Root-Filled Teeth (Mannocci F., Cavalli G., Gagliani M., Quintessence International, 2007, traduzido para vários idiomas); Odontoiatria Restaurativa: Procedure di Trattamento e Prospettive Future (Brenna F., Breschi L., Cavalli G. et al., Elsevier Masson, 2009, traduzido para o espanhol); Restorative Dentistry (Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry, Cavalli G. et al., Elsevier–Mosby, 2011); e Odontoiatria Restaurativa Estetica (Allegri M.A., Ammannato R., Cavalli G. et al., AIC, Quintessence Publishing, 2021). Autor de numerosos artigos revisados por pares sobre aspectos restauradores e protéticos de dentes tratados endodonticamente e sobre novos materiais restauradores estéticos. Scientific referee do International Endodontic Journal (2015–2021).
Active Member da Italian Society of Endodontics (SIE, desde 1991): Vice-President (2013–2015) e Member do Active Members Acceptance Committee (2010–2012). Active Member da Italian Academy of Conservative Dentistry (AIC, desde 1989): Member da Cultural Commission (2015–2017).
