Carreira de pesquisa desenvolvida em múltiplos ambientes laboratoriais avançados: Center for Biofilm (Loma Linda), Advanced Imaging and Microscopy Core na Loma Linda School of Medicine, e o Center Facility for Advanced Microscopy and Microanalysis na UC Riverside. Foco principal de pesquisa na irrigação do canal radicular — abrangendo eficácia de irrigantes, protocolos de irrigação ativada, análise microbiológica e análise histo-morfológica complexa de sistemas de canais radiculares por microscopia avançada. Autor de mais de 30 publicações revisadas por pares e oito capítulos de livros (incluindo um em espanhol e um em português). Ministrou mais de 120 conferências em todo o mundo. Presidente Científico, ROOTS SUMMIT, Atenas, Grécia (2024). Presidente, Comitê do Prêmio de Bolsa de Pesquisa Jean-Marie Laurichesse, Federação Internacional de Associações de Endodontia (IFEA).
Fellow Induzido, International College of Dentists (ICD). Membro Ativo, Federação Internacional de Associações de Endodontia (IFEA). Membro ativo de múltiplos comitês da UTHealth School of Dentistry.
