O programa de pesquisa foca nas propriedades biomecanicas dos materiais restauradores dentais, sistemas adesivos, restauracoes CAD/CAM, materiais compositos para dentes posteriores, reabilitacao total da boca em pacientes parafuncionais e disfuncionais, e manejo oclusal do bruxismo e disturbios da ATM. Autor de mais de 100 publicacoes em revistas nacionais e internacionais revisadas por pares e autor de um livro didatico sobre reabilitacao total da boca em pacientes parafuncionais e disfuncionais.
Palestrante internacional nos congressos odontologicos mais prestigiosos do mundo e professor convidado em universidades da Europa, Americas e Asia. Coordenador cientifico e didatico de atividades educacionais em multiplas universidades parceiras internacionais.
