In 1992 received the Master of Science in Dentistry in Periodontology.
Has since cooperated with different research groups at projects related to guided tissue regeneration, guided bone regeneration and implant dentistry.
He is author of more than 30 papers published on peer reviewed magazines, co-author of the book Bone Biomaterials and Beyond where he wrote the chapter on periodontal regeneration.
Active member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry, of the European Society of Cosmetic Dentistry, Certified member of the Italian Society of Periodontology, International member of the American Academy of Periodontology.
Funding member and vice president of the Bone Biomaterials and Beyond Academy.
Has been a professor at the Master of second degree in Periodontology at Sapienza University of Rome since 2000, at the master in Implantology and prosthetics of the University of Pisa since 2010.
Diplomate do American Board of Periodontology. Especialista em cirurgia periodontal e de implantes com foco em gestão de tecidos moles e reabilitação estética. Mantém prática privada em Roma, Itália, onde trata casos complexos requerendo abordagens interdisciplinares.
