Técnico Dental Mestre Certificado (MDT) especializando-se em ciência da cor dental, correspondência de tons e cerâmicas estéticas. Pesquisador independente e consultor em ciência computacional da cor para aplicações dentais. Inventor do sistema de correspondência de tons eLAB, o primeiro software em odontologia a fornecer receitas de mistura específicas do paciente para materiais cerâmicos.

Mais de 25 anos de experiência como técnico dental treinado na Alemanha trabalhando na Europa, Emirados Árabes Unidos e Austrália. Especialista em todos os aspectos da aparência da cor dental de perspectivas práticas e científicas. Conhecido por conectar ciência avançada da cor com aplicações práticas de laboratório dental para melhorar previsibilidade em restaurações estéticas.

Membro do Oral Design Group (admitido 2007 pelo fundador Willi Geller) e Bio-Emulation group (admitido 2012). Membro Editorial Board da German Quintessence of Dental Technology (desde 2011). Palestrante internacional desde 2009, tendo ministrado centenas de cursos e palestras globalmente sobre estética dental, ciência da cor e materiais cerâmicos. Desenvolvedor do sistema visual_eyes liquid e fluor_eyes flash para fotografia dental fluorescente. Autor de numerosas publicações incluindo contribuições ao QDT Yearbook (2009, 2011) e artigos revisados por pares em revistas de tecnologia dental.

Treinado como Técnico Dental na Alemanha (graduado 1997). Master School em Freiburg, Alemanha, graduando-se primeiro da classe e ganhando prata na anual Kanter Award Competition (2004/05), que reconhece os três melhores estudantes Master School da Alemanha. Treinamento avançado em cerâmicas dentais com Masahiro Kuwata em Tóquio, Japão (2001). PhD em Ciência da Cor pela University of Leeds, School of Design, sob Professor Stephen Westland, focando em aplicações de ciência computacional da cor em odontologia. Publicações recentes incluem trabalho sobre conectar percepção instrumental e visual em correspondência de tons dentais publicado em revistas revisadas por pares (2024).

Author of book chapters "Immediate loading: A new era in oral implantology", "The art of detailing. The philosophy behind excellence". Founder member of the Italian Society of Prosthodontics and Oral Rehabilitation (SIPRO) Member of Italian Academy of Restorative Dentistry (AIOP), American Academy of Fixed Prosthodontics (AAFP), European Prosthodontics Association (EPA).

Member of the Italian Academy of Esthetic Dentistry and one of the Founding members of Fradeani Education.

A member of the Nobel Biocare Mentor Project.

Lectures nationally and internationally on prosthodontics and implants.

Member of the Italian Society of Prosthetic Dentistry.

Professor and Chairman of the Department of Prosthodontics, Propaedeutics and Dental Materials, Christian-Albrechts University at Kiel, Germany.

In 2011 received the Schweitzer Research Award of the Greater New York Academy of Prosthodontics (GNYAP).

Served as President of the German Society for Prosthetic Dentistry and Biomaterials (DGPro).

In 2020 received the IADR Distinguished Scientist Award for Research in Prosthodontics and Implants.
