Magnetic resonance imaging is an important tool for the imaging and diagnosis of TMJ. In some guidelines, MRI is called the gold standard for analyzing the position of the articular disc. But, unfortunately, doctors are faced with conflicting information from condylography and radiology. Correct interpretation begins with the formulation of the correct request (disc, condyle, joint space, ligaments, etc.). Therefore, the radiologist selects the required parameters (T1, T2, PD) and provides the necessary information. In addition, the dentist‘s ability to combine radiographic data with warts can improve functional diagnosis.

Pioneiro no desenvolvimento de tecnologias diagnósticas digitais incluindo sistema Orehab Condylocomp LR para registro preciso de movimento condilar e Freecorder Bluefox para rastreamento mandibular digital. Pesquisa focada em biomecânica ATM, bruxismo, design oclusal e abordagens cibernéticas para distúrbios do sistema estomatognático.
