One of the very few dentists worldwide holding dual credentials as both board-certified prosthodontist and master dental ceramist, personally fabricating all ceramic restorations for his patients. Graduated Phi Beta Kappa and Magna Cum Laude from University of Redlands. Received DDS with honors (Omicron Kappa Upsilon) from University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Completed specialty certificate in Prosthodontics from UCLA School of Dentistry. Former Associate Professor at UCLA in Biomaterials and Advanced Prosthodontics Department. Adjunct Assistant Professor at University of Oregon Dental School.

 

Currently Professor at UAB School of Dentistry serving as: Co-Director of Biomaterials Division; Co-Director of Postgraduate Aesthetic Restorative Material Science Masters 3-Year Residency Program; Founder and Director of 3-Year Advanced Ceramics and Digital Technology Program for Technicians; Founder and Director of One-Year Aesthetic and Restorative Fellowship. Trained over 300 graduates worldwide who are now leaders in aesthetic dentistry and master ceramics.
