During the two intensive days of theoretical sessions, you will learn:
– Treatment protocols of single and multiple recessions in the upper and lower jaw
– The author's techniques of mucogingival surgery
– Treatment of recession around implants
– Soft tissue augmentation prior to implant placement.
On the second day of the course, Professor Giovanni Zucchelli will demonstrate live surgery on patients.

Pioneiro e inovador de múltiplas técnicas cirúrgicas para reconstrução de tecido mole incluindo Retalho Coronalmente Avançado Modificado, técnica de Plataforma de Tecido Conectivo e protocolos para reconstrução de papila.
Autoridade internacional em cirurgia estética mucogengival tendo lecionado e realizado demonstrações cirúrgicas ao vivo em grandes conferências mundialmente. Vencedor de prestigiosos prêmios de pesquisa: AAP Foundation-E Bud Tarrson Research Award in Oral Plastic Surgery (2006, 2008), European Federation of Periodontology Clinical Research Prize (2006) e AAP Foundation Lilly Research Award for Clinical Research (2003). Publicou mais de 130 artigos científicos em revistas internacionais revisadas por pares com extenso registro de citações. Pesquisador mais citado sobre procedimentos de cobertura de recessão globalmente.

Membro ativo da European Academy of Esthetic Dentistry (EAED), Italian Society of Periodontology (SIdP), Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) e European Federation of Periodontology (EFP). Editor Associado do International Journal of Esthetic Dentistry. Membro do Conselho Editorial do International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, Journal of Clinical Periodontology e Journal of Periodontology. Revisor por pares para revistas periodontais mais classificadas. Autor do bestseller internacional "Mucogingival Esthetic Surgery" (Quintessence, 2012), traduzido para 12 idiomas e reconhecido como a referência definitiva em cirurgia plástica periodontal. Coautor do capítulo "Mucogingival Therapy—Periodontal Plastic Surgery" em "Clinical Periodontology and Implant Dentistry" de Lindhe, Lang e Karring.
