Maintains orthodontic practice in São Paulo, Brazil.

Over 20 years of clinical experience treating complex orthodontic cases involving skeletal discrepancies, impacted canines, and cases requiring orthopedic expansion. Pioneer in promoting MARPE protocols in Latin America for non-surgical treatment of transverse maxillary deficiency in adolescents and adults. Research focuses on bone-borne expansion appliances, midpalatal suture maturation assessment, and predictability factors for successful skeletal expansion.

Professor at UNESP (São Paulo State University) in Marília, Brazil, since 2004. Former Professor at Universidade Ceuma, São Luís, Brazil (2006-2020). International lecturer presenting throughout Latin America, United States, Europe, and Asia on skeletal anchorage, MARPE techniques, and optimization of orthodontic treatment mechanics.
